This policy outlines acceptable use of the Postmarkr service. It supplements our Terms of Service. By using Postmarkr, you agree to follow these guidelines.
Prohibited Content
You may not use Postmarkr to send mail containing:
- Threats, harassment, or intimidation
- Illegal content or offers
- Hate speech, discriminatory, or obscene material
- Fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive content
- Content that impersonates another person or entity
- Unsolicited bulk mail (spam) to purchased or scraped address lists
Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Attempt to circumvent our security measures or rate limits
- Access or attempt to access another user's account
- Use automated tools to create accounts or send mail without authorization
- Interfere with or disrupt our service
USPS Compliance
All mail sent through Postmarkr must comply with USPS regulations.
A valid return address is required on all mail (this is a USPS requirement, not just ours).
You may not mail hazardous, illegal, or restricted materials.
Enforcement
We take violations seriously and may take the following actions:
- Issue a warning for minor or first-time violations
- Suspend your account for repeated violations
- Terminate your account immediately for severe violations (illegal content, threats)
- Report illegal activity to law enforcement as required by law
We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a violation and to take action at our discretion.
Reporting Violations
If you receive mail sent through Postmarkr that violates this policy, please contact us at hello@postmarkr.com.
Include as much detail as possible: the date you received the mail, a description of the content, and any identifying information from the envelope.
