Privacy Policy

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information.

Mailing Information

To send mail on your behalf, we collect recipient addresses and your uploaded documents (PDF files). We also store your return address if you choose to save it.

Payment Information

We use Stripe to process payments. Your payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you use our service, including pages visited, actions taken, and device information. This helps us improve our service.

Attribution Data

On first visit, we may store first-touch attribution values (landing path, referral domain, UTM parameters) in local storage under pmr_first_touch and persist related values to your account after signup.

Printing Partner

We share your documents and recipient addresses with our printing and mailing partner to fulfill your mail requests.

Stripe (Payment Processor)

Payment information is processed by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy.

USPS

Recipient addresses are shared with USPS for mail delivery and tracking.

Sentry (Diagnostics and Contact Messages)

We use Sentry to monitor errors and to receive messages sent through our contact form. If you use that form, the name, email address, and message you enter are transmitted to Sentry so that we can read and reply to you.

Advertising Measurement

When you have a Postmarkr account, we may share limited details of your verified signup and confirmed purchases with OpenAI to measure and improve our ads. Signup details include the verification time, a signup reference, our website address, a hashed version of your account email, and an ad click reference when available. Purchase details also include the amount and currency. We do not share your documents, mail contents or recipient details for advertising. You can turn this off in Settings without affecting your use of Postmarkr. We treat Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track as turning it off. Turning it off stops future sharing; information already sent cannot be recalled. See our Cookie Policy for the ad click cookie.

We may send Google your confirmed purchase time, amount, currency and a purchase reference, together with a hashed version of your account email, a valid saved Google ad click reference, or both. Email matching can work without a saved ad click reference. If you create an account after arriving from one of our Google ads, we may also send verified-signup and checkout-start details using that click reference while it remains valid. We do not send Google your plaintext email, uploaded documents, mail contents or recipient details for this measurement. Turning advertising measurement off stops future sharing; requests already sent cannot be recalled.
