What does your delivery guarantee mean?

If something doesn't arrive, we'll refund you or resend it for free. Every address is verified against the USPS database before we print, and every letter gets a tracking number so you can follow it from print to mailbox.

Is Postmarkr right for large-scale direct mail campaigns?

We're built for small-to-medium volume — think individual invoices, legal notices, and one-off letters. If you need to send thousands of identical pieces, a service like Lob might be a better fit right now. We're working on bulk features.

What types of documents can I send?

We support PDF documents for letters (up to 50 pages). We print on standard 8.5x11 letter paper.

Can I send postcards?

Postcard pricing: 4×6 from $1.00, 6×9 from $1.00, and 6×11 from $1.25 via USPS First Class or Standard mail.

What happens if the address is wrong?

We verify addresses with USPS before mailing. If there's an issue, you'll see a warning and can fix it before checkout. If mail is returned as undeliverable, contact support to request a refund or resend.

Can I send Certified Mail?

Certified Mail with return receipt and signature tracking is coming soon. Currently we support standard USPS First-Class Mail with delivery tracking for all letters.

How much does it cost to send a letter?

A single-page B&W letter costs $1.85 all-in ($1.50 base + $0.35 processing fee). Color starts at $2.11 ($1.75 base + $0.36 processing fee). Additional pages are $0.20 each (B&W) or $0.40 each (color). No hidden charges — the price at checkout is the price you pay.

Are there any subscription fees?

No. There are no monthly fees or subscriptions. You only pay for the mail you send.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through our secure Stripe checkout.

Can I get a refund?

If we haven't printed your mail yet, you can cancel for a full refund. After printing, refunds are only available if there's a quality issue or the mail is returned.

What are the size and page limits?

Maximum file size is 5 MB and maximum length is 50 pages. Documents are printed on standard 8.5x11 letter paper.

What resolution should my PDF be?

We recommend 300 DPI or higher for the best print quality. Lower-resolution images may appear blurry, but text and vector graphics will print fine at any resolution.

What is the difference between pages and sheets?

A page is one side of a PDF (what you upload). A sheet is one piece of physical paper. With single-sided printing, 1 page = 1 sheet. With double-sided printing, 2 pages = 1 sheet. You are billed per page, but the envelope type is determined by sheet count.

When does a flat envelope apply?

If your letter requires 7 or more sheets of paper, it is automatically mailed in a flat 9x12 envelope instead of a standard #10 envelope. This adds a $2.50 surcharge.

Are there address length limits?

Yes. The combined length of address line 1 and line 2 must be 50 characters or fewer. If your address is too long, try abbreviating (e.g., Street to St, Avenue to Ave, Apartment to Apt).

We process orders the same day, print the next business day, and mail the day after. USPS typically delivers within 1–5 business days.

Yes. Every piece of mail includes tracking. You'll see status updates from processing through delivery in your dashboard.

Contact our support team. We'll investigate with USPS. If something doesn't arrive, we'll refund you or resend it for free.

What does the delivery timeline look like?

After payment, your order is processed the same business day. It is printed the next business day and mailed the day after that. USPS First-Class delivery typically arrives in 1–5 business days after mailing.

What do the tracking statuses mean?

DRAFT: You're still working on it. PENDING_PAYMENT: Awaiting payment. SUBMITTED: Sent to our print partner. PROCESSING: Being printed. IN_TRANSIT: On its way. OUT FOR DELIVERY: In your local area. DELIVERED: Confirmed delivered. RETURNED: Sent back as undeliverable. Tracking updates begin when USPS scans your mail in transit.

What if my mail shows as returned?

A returned status means USPS could not deliver the letter and sent it back. This usually happens because of an incorrect or incomplete address. If mail is returned as undeliverable, contact support to request a refund or resend.

Can I cancel after paying?

Yes, as long as the letter has not yet been printed. Once the status moves to PROCESSING, it cannot be cancelled. You will receive a full refund for any cancelled order.

Can I send the same letter to a list of people at once?

CSV import is planned but not yet available. For now, you can manually add addresses to your address book and reuse them.
