Postmarkr is an online service that lets you send physical mail without leaving your desk. Upload a PDF, enter an address, pay online, and we print and mail your letter via USPS.

Create a free account with your email address. You can start sending mail as soon as you verify your email.

No. Postmarkr is entirely web-based. Just use any modern browser to sign in and send mail.

If USPS confirms a letter was lost, we'll resend it for free. Every address is verified against the USPS database before we print. USPS scan updates appear in your dashboard when available.

Yes. Postmarkr supports letter campaigns through Bulk Send. Each batch supports up to 100 recipients and $1,000 per order; split larger campaigns into multiple batches.

We support PDF documents for letters (up to 50 pages). We print on standard 8.5x11 letter paper.

Postcard sending is paused during beta while we finish the customer experience. Letters are available now; contact hello@postmarkr.com if you need postcard access.

Not currently. We only support domestic U.S. addresses at this time. International mail is on our roadmap.

Not yet, but this feature is planned. Today, every letter follows the standard timeline: Printed the next business day following payment. Your letter enters the mailstream by the next business day.

We verify addresses with USPS before mailing. If there's an issue, you'll see a warning and can fix it before checkout. Mail returned as undeliverable because of an incorrect or incomplete address is not eligible for a refund or free resend.

Certified Mail is coming soon and is not currently available. Today, Postmarkr sends standard USPS First-Class letters with mail-stream status updates and USPS scan updates when available.

A single-page B&W letter costs $2.05 all-in ($1.70 base + $0.35 processing fee). Color starts at $2.52 ($2.15 base + $0.37 processing fee). Additional pages are $0.20 each (B&W) or $0.40 each (color). No hidden charges — the price at checkout is the price you pay.

No. There are no monthly fees or subscriptions. You only pay for the mail you send.

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through our secure Stripe checkout.

Before payment, you can cancel a Draft or Pending Payment mail piece in your dashboard. Because payment has not completed, no refund is needed. Need to stop a letter after paying? Contact support right away and we'll try to catch it before it prints. Once a letter is queued for production it usually cannot be stopped, which is why the preview and total come before payment. If Postmarkr confirms and issues a refund, it returns to your original payment method. Your bank may take 5–10 business days to post it. After printing, refunds are only available for a quality issue, mail confirmed lost by USPS, or an error made by us during processing.

The letter upload accepts PDF files. Your PDF must be unencrypted and not password-protected. You can also import a .docx file in the letter editor on a desktop or laptop.

Maximum file size is 5 MB and maximum length is 50 pages. Documents are printed on standard 8.5x11 letter paper.

We recommend 300 DPI or higher for the best print quality. Lower-resolution images may appear blurry, but text and vector graphics will print fine at any resolution.

A page is one side of a PDF (what you upload). A sheet is one piece of physical paper. With single-sided printing, 1 page = 1 sheet. With double-sided printing, 2 pages = 1 sheet. You are billed per page, but the envelope type is determined by sheet count.

If your letter requires 7 or more sheets of paper, it is automatically mailed in a flat 9x12 envelope instead of a standard #10 envelope. This adds a $2.50 surcharge.

Yes. The combined length of address line 1 and line 2 must be 50 characters or fewer. If your address is too long, try abbreviating (e.g., Street to St, Avenue to Ave, Apartment to Apt).

Yes. Your dashboard shows processing milestones and mail-stream status updates. USPS scan updates appear when available; carrier scans can be delayed or missing.

DRAFT: You're still working on it. PENDING_PAYMENT: Awaiting payment. SUBMITTED: Sent to our print partner. PROCESSING: Being printed. IN_TRANSIT: A carrier transit event was reported. OUT FOR DELIVERY: A local-area event was reported. DELIVERED: USPS reported a delivery event. RETURNED: Sent back as undeliverable. USPS scan updates appear when available and can be delayed or missing.

A returned status means USPS could not deliver the letter and sent it back. Mail returned as undeliverable because of an incorrect or incomplete address is not eligible for a refund or free resend.

Yes. Bulk Send lets you upload one PDF or choose a compatible template and send it to up to 100 recipients in one batch. If a batch would exceed 100 recipients or $1,000, split it into multiple batches.

No. Volume pricing is not currently available. Every letter is priced the same regardless of volume.

Yes. You can import addresses from a CSV file on the Addresses page and review validation results before committing the import.

API access is planned for a future release. If you have a specific use case, contact support and we can discuss your needs.

Yes. Documents are encrypted in transit and at rest. Uploaded documents and generated mailing proofs follow different retention lifecycles. Learn more on our Security page.

No. Your documents are processed automatically. We never read or review the content of your mail.
