Mailing to a list?

A CSV supplies recipient addresses separately from your letter. Explore print and mail services.

Before you send

Check the recipient and return addresses

Every letter needs a destination and a return address. Review both before you pay.

Who is it going to?

Enter the recipient’s name and mailing address. Check the street, apartment or suite, city, state and ZIP code. Review any suggested address corrections.

Address checks help identify mailing problems. They do not confirm that the person you named lives there.

Where should returns go?

Check the return name and address too. Use an address where you can receive returned mail.

The recipient and return details appear on an added address page. Your document follows it inside the envelope.

Your document, plus an address page

Check the added address page and every page of your letter. Make sure the text is readable and nothing is missing.

  • Document: Are all pages present and readable?
  • Addresses: Are the recipient and return details correct?
  • Printing: Review color and single- or double-sided options.
  • Price: Check the full total, including postage and the processing fee.

What happens after you pay?

Your letter moves into processing for printing and mailing. You can follow its progress from your dashboard.

Processing

Your letter moves into processing. We prepare it for printing and USPS handoff.

02

Printing

Our commercial print partner prints your letter and seals it in an envelope, ready for mailing.

03

Mailing

Your letter is handed to USPS for First-Class delivery. Follow available updates in your dashboard.

USPS estimates 1–5 days for First-Class Mail after mailing. Processing and printing take additional time. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees.

Your dashboard shows processing milestones and USPS scan updates when available. Carrier scans can be delayed or missing. These updates do not provide a recipient signature or guaranteed proof of delivery.

Questions about sending a letter online

Can I send a physical letter online?

You can — a PDF you upload here is printed, sealed into an envelope, and mailed through USPS First-Class as a physical letter. The recipient gets paper in their mailbox, not a link. If USPS confirms a letter was lost, we'll resend it for free.

Do I need a printer or stamps?

No. Printing, the envelope, and postage are all inside the one price — your printer can stay broken.

What file type can I upload?

The letter upload accepts PDF files. You can also import a .docx file or arrange images in the letter editor on a desktop or laptop. To upload a finished scan or a file from Pages, save it as a PDF first. Review the prepared pages before paying.

What does sending a letter online cost, all-in?

$2.05 for one page, printed black and white — postage and the processing fee are already in that number. The itemized page-by-page math lives on our pricing page, and our USPS rates page tracks what stamps cost today.

Can I send just one letter?

One letter is the normal order here, not an exception. You pay for that piece and nothing else — the smallest charge you'll see is $2.05, because the processing fee is already inside it.

Does Postmarkr support certified mail yet?

Not yet. If a court or statute requires certified specifically, we can't help you today — that mode is still coming. Letters sent through Postmarkr use First-Class Mail, with mail-stream status updates and USPS scan updates when available.
